Law enforcement’s critical role is to provide for the safety and security of our communities across this great nation. In order to do so effectively, they need our support and the support of our legislators. That is where the Coalition of Police and Sheriffs of America comes in. We support the legislators who will pass legislation that will support the law enforcement professionals who protect and serve communities across the U.S.
Who We Support
Sheriffs
Sheriffs who work in counties across this great nation, in busy metropolitan areas as well as small rural communities. We advocate for them to get the resources they need to support the needs of their communities, whether they be large and heavily populated or small with other departments that can coordinate further away. We make certain that legislators look out for the interests of law enforcement in every type of community.
Police Officers
Police officers who work in towns and cities all over the U.S., including in the icy winters of the north, the hurricane seasons in the south, and all kinds of other weather events that make it necessary for departments to require resources unique to their region. We advocate for legislators to pass legislation that helps get resources to where they are needed and for officers who are injured in the line of duty to get the benefits they deserve.
